  • 1 French bread baguette
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • cinnamon to taste
  • sugar to taste
  • sunflower oil for frying

PREPARATION MODE

  1. Cut the baguette (or 4 French breads) into medium slices.
  2. In a refractory, mix the cow's milk with the condensed milk and dip the slices of bread until they are very wet.
  3. In another refractory, beat the eggs and add the cinnamon.
  4. Dip the slices of bread soaked in milk in the beaten eggs.
  5. Fry in hot oil and drain the french toast on paper towel.
  6. Then pass it in a refractory with cinnamon and sugar to taste.
  7. Serve hot or place in the refrigerator to serve cold.

  • 2 eggs
  • 6 slices of wholemeal bread
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • Cinnamon powder to taste
  • Coconut oil for frying

PREPARATION MODE

  1. Place the coconut milk in a pan, place over low heat and let it heat up.
  2. When the milk is hot, turn off the heat, add the slices of bread one by one, leaving them submerged for a few seconds. Just enough to make the bread taste like milk.
  3. Tip: Preferably, use naturally fermented bread.
  4. Meanwhile, lightly beat the eggs on a plate. Reserve.
  5. In a frying pan, add coconut oil, or another oil of your choice and heat over low heat.
  6. Remove the slices from the pan with milk, dip them in the eggs and then fry them in hot oil.
  7. In a deep plate, mix the brown sugar with the cinnamon.
  8. Brown the slices on both sides and then dip them in the sugar mixture.
  9. Serve immediately.

French toast stuffed with dulce de leche

  • 7 stale breads
  • Dulce de leche to taste (for the filling)
  • 500 ml of milk
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons of cinnamon powder

PREPARATION MODE

  1. Gather all the ingredients;
  2. Cut the bread into slices about 2 fingers wide;
  3. In the middle of each slice, make a cut with the knife, but without reaching the end;
  4. Fill each slice with a teaspoon of dulce de leche and set aside;
  5. In a container, add the milk, condensed milk, mix well with a whisk and set aside;
  6. In another bowl, place the eggs, beat lightly and set aside;
  7. In a plate mix the sugar with the cinnamon and set aside;
  8. Heat a pan with 500ml of oil, until you add a small piece of bread and bubbles form around it;
  9. Dip the French toast in milk, dip in egg and fry in hot oil until both are golden;
  10. Roll them in cinnamon sugar and serve.
